Is Google GDrive any better than Microsoft SkyDrive?

So what really makes Google GDrive better than Microsoft SkyDrive? Probably not a whole lot; in terms of drive space. However what Google is achieving is synergy between all of its offerings. With the introduction of Google GDrive you can, in a sense, really live online. Of course there is the issue of privacy and trust, but it seems that people really don’t care. GDrive is available on all devices, with the nagging exception of the Blackberry; which I am blogging from at the moment. With GDrive live will ChromeOS take hold? What does this mean for Apple? Will Dropbox or get bought out? How about Facebook? The next few months will be interesting indeed!

  1. I would like to recomended you sugarsync. You have at start 5GB of totally free storage. You can synchronize every folder on disk [not only special one like in dropbox]. You can easy share your files to everyone simple clicking right mouse button in windows explorer and pick option “get public link for this file”.
    Very simple and very usefull!
I use this feature to insert pictures into forums and blogs, and for send files to my friends/coworkers [it’s simpler that send big files via email].

From referal link you can increase your free storage up to 32GB totally free!

    So, I very recomend sugarsync.

You have extra free space at beginning, and I get also extra 500MB. Thanks!

    • Yes, it maybe easier, however you know Google will do its best to make the world believe they invented the technology. Are they just too big? I find a lot of people like synergy between apps. Granted, Google has failed before. Remember Buzz?
